How we research
Every page on servicedogtrainingnewyork.com starts from a sourced research sheet: federal rules from ADA.gov, HUD and the U.S. Department of Transportation; state rules from the New York statutes themselves, linked on each page; program details from each organization's own site. Writing is assisted by AI and checked against those sources and an automated rules check before it is published. Pages name their sources in the text and list them at the end.
We quote state statutes from the legislature's own site and federal rules from ADA.gov. We never tell readers to register or certify a service dog: the ADA has no registry, and online certificates are not legal proof.
What we leave out
When a source does not state something, such as a price, a fee or a waitlist, we say so instead of estimating it. We do not claim expert review we have not had.
